This month’s NBCC Visions features a streamlined design that we hope our board certified counselors find both attractive and useful—especially those using mobile devices, who now comprise more than 50% of our readers.
In particular, mobile readers will find it easier to scroll through the newsletter to follow stories and links. In addition, this redesign:
- Introduces more colors as design elements.
- Creates a more prominent display for the top story of the month.
- Reduces the number of hot links that can distract readers while encouraging clicks to full stories.
- Allows for more and larger images with stories.
The changes come two years after the launch of NBCC Visions as a monthly newsletter; previously, NBCC’s newsletter, then known as The National Certified Counselor, had been published three times a year.
NBCC Visions offers news about counseling and credentialing, as well as stories about government affairs issues, features on counselors around the country, and information about NBCC and its employees.
